Kitchens by Design was established in 1993 by Peter Mathieu.
For over 32 years, he has successfully owned and operated the design firm, serving thousands of clients in Mattapoisett, Marion, Rochester, Dartmouth, Westport, Cape Cod, RI and beyond. Peter is recognized for his expertise in spatial design, keen attention to detail, and ability to alleviate the stress for clients by overseeing every aspect of the process, regardless of size. Peter has meticulously chosen the cabinet lines, preferred contractors, and fabricators because he understands the significance of quality products and results. He has built and nurtured strong relationships with leading builders and architects in the area.
Peter is now joined by his daughter, Kerry Forcier. Together, they form an ideal duo, blending technical expertise with a keen sense of style to cater to a diverse array of customers and projects.
Kerry has a natural talent for interior design, specializing in crafting spaces that feel cohesive, fresh, and inviting. She believes that a home should bring joy to everyone who enters, beginning with a design that is both beautiful and functional.
